Sacred Music Classics
These pages feature MIDI files and NWC (Noteworthy Composer) scores of choral works by Bach, Mendelssohn, Dubois, Palestrina, Stainer, and Zingarelli and organ compositions by Buxtehude. Among the multi-movement compositions, some have been completely sequenced (e. g. Bach's Magnificat in D, Cantata #4, Cantata #34, Cantata #131, New! Jesu meine Freude, Dubois' Seven Last Words of Christ, Mendelssohn's Elijah, St. Paul, Stainer's Crucifixion), while others may consist of only a movement or two at present. More selections are added and old files updated (e.g. recent revisions of various movements of Elijah and the Bach Magnificat) as time permits, so be sure to check back from time to time to see what is new. Software to read the scores written in NWC format can be downloaded free of charge.

African American Spirituals
This section includes MIDI files and NWC (Noteworthy Composer) scores for a collection of favorite African American spirituals in four part arrangements, and including guitar chords. From time to time more sprituals will be added. New! See newly added spiritual.

Religious songs for the handicapped
Once a month a group of us present a free Gospel sing for some handicapped folks from the area around Carbondale, IL. No, you don't need to be handicapped to participate. Here, you can download most of the songs we do for them (things will be added from time to time). In December we present songs that are specificly for the Christmas season. Here is a direct link to a separate page containing Christmas carols with guitar chords. We also do some songs that are special for the Easter season.

Making violins/fiddles
These pages feature various instruments that I have made or repaired, together with some discussion of the process. There is a new page and there are new photos of a 1942 Kay bass. I expect to post more eventually.
